Well sure, but it will be modified beyond recognition. Be sure to check out that book, it’s really great.

Also, while recommending books, Real-Time Rendering, Fourth Edition by Tomas Akenine-Möller, Eric Haines, Naty Hoffman, Angelo Pesce, Michał Iwanicki, and Sébastien Hillaire and Game Engine Architecture, Third Edition by Jason Gregory are very useful when designing and working on a 3d game engine. They also look impressive on a book shelf, which is always a plus.
